Polyalthia longifolia AKA Asopalav feat. Sine wave

Asopalav leaves have unique bumps that resemble Sine waves. My college has a lot of trees, and one of them is the Asopalav tree (Polyalthia longifolia). While I was passing by, I intentionally broke a leaf off of the tree. As I looked at it, I realized that it looked so similar to a sine wave. It struck me that patterns are everywhere in nature.
